What is a Chick Leader?

A Chick Leader is an enthusiastic, community-driven woman who leads a local RunGirl! Club. Chick Leaders organize group meetups, encourage participation, foster connections, and empower women through movement and mentorship.

What are the responsibilities of a Chick Leader?
As a Chick Leader, you will:
  • Organize at least two local meetups per month (runs,
    walks, workouts, or community events)
  • Engage and support members through social media,
    group chats, and events
  • Promote the RunGirl! Club and recruit new members
  • Collaborate with local businesses and potential sponsors
  • Attend leadership training and quarterly check-ins with
    Chicks with Kicks leadership

What qualifications do I need to become a Chick Leader?
You don’t need prior leadership experience, but you should have:
  • A passion for fitness, community building, and personal
    growth
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A willingness to use social media for engagement
  • The ability to commit to the program for at least six
    months

How do I become a Chick Leader?
The process to become a Chick Leader includes:
  1. Submit an Interest Form – Share your initial interest and
    basic details.
  2. Complete the Chick Leader Application – Provide more in-
    depth information about your experience and goals.
  3. Interview & Selection – Shortlisted applicants will be
    invited for a brief interview.
  4. Onboarding & Training – Once approved, you’ll receive
    structured training, branding guidelines, and event-
    planning resources.
  5. Launch Your RunGirl! Club – Start organizing local
    meetups and fostering an engaging, supportive
    community.
Do Chick Leaders get paid?
Yes! Chick Leaders earn commission-based income through:
  • Membership Fees: Earn a percentage from each club
    member’s monthly fee.
  • Event Ticket Sales: Receive commission on paid events
    hosted.
  • Sponsorships & Partnerships: Earn additional income
    through sponsorships you secure.
  • Merchandise Sales (Optional): Receive a percentage from
    official Chicks with Kicks merchandise sales in your club.

Will I receive training and support?
Absolutely! We provide:
  • Chick Leader Onboarding to set you up for success
  • Marketing materials to promote your club
  • Ongoing mentorship and leadership development
  • A network of fellow Chick Leaders for collaboration and
    support

Can I promote my own business or fitness brand?
Chick Leaders are welcome to collaborate with local businesses
and sponsors. However, any personal business promotion should
align with the mission of RunGirl! Club and Chicks with Kicks.
 
How many hours per week should I expect to dedicate?
Most Chick Leaders spend 3-5 hours per week, which includes
planning meetups, engaging with members, and promoting
the club.
 
How do I apply?

Do I have to pay anything to become a Chick Leader?
No. There are no upfront costs to become a Chick Leader. The
only investment is your time and energy in growing a thriving
community!

What happens if I can no longer commit to the program?
We understand that life happens! If you need to step away, we
just ask for 30 days' notice so we can transition leadership
smoothly.
